Roads Committee Update

The committee plans to provide recommendations to the Board at a Special Meeting on October 23rd. The Board’s selected plan would be presented to all unit owners for approval, in December or January. Implementation is planned to commence next year.

The Roads Committee is developing options for the roads, consulting with engineers, estimating costs, and visiting other complexes paved in the last few years. The Committee is focusing on evaluating two alternative plans for paving the roads, neither of which would entail any special assessment!

Alternative 1: Doing roads and parking lots in two phases all from cash in reserves: Phase I, would pave the West section including Hollister Way West, Dogwood Ln, and North around to in front of the Clubhouse. Phase II would do the East Section once we have accumulated sufficient reserves, five to seven years later.

Alternative 2: Paving all of Meadow Hill at once, in 2013, be paid from current funds and a loan to be paid from future reserve funds.
