Roads Commitee Established

This last month each member of the Board participated in a webcast titled “No Detours: Best Practices for Community Road Management”, giving us a common base to consider options going forward.

At the monthly Board meeting a Roads Committee was appointed, which now consists of three Board members and two additional unit owners. The Board also approved funding for an engineer to consult on the project. The committee is in the process of developing and evaluating various road improvement plans in preparation for a meeting with the engineer to obtain his feedback and insights. The entire Committee has now also seen the webcast.

The committee goal is to provide recommendations to the Board in October, then to all owners for approval at the November Annual Budget Meeting, for implementation commencing next year. As we said last month, our priorities are addressing any potential hazards, enhancing the long-term value and the experience of Meadow Hill, and maintaining a comfortable minimum level of projected reserves.
