Spring has finally arrived and the recent extreme weather patterns of the past few years is manifesting itself again. One quarter inch of total rain over the last month is stressing our lawn areas and plant material throughout the property. We are seeing significant dieback and decline. We all need to do a rain dance! I have met many of you at my Thursday am meeting and it has been a pleasure. I think I have been able to answer some excellent questions and been able to give time frames of when the different scopes we are producing will be completed. I encourage all the community to come to at least one meeting so any answers to question can be directly answered from me so the information is accurate. Mulch installation should be completed the week on June 6th. Pruning of plant material will commence once the mulch is completed. Dead shrubs in common areas are being removed and work order for dead plants or plants that need a diagnosis from me are coming in and getting completed. I encourage everyone to use the work order system through APM to get your concerns addressed (please do not ask too many questions or hold up the crews production as possible). The work order system is an organized and controlled method to be productive. There are a lot of changes and improvements going on this season and we are starting to realize the improvements. Please understand, what we are trying to accomplish with the horticultural changes on the property are extremely large undertakings. Weather conditions and new changes effect the time frames of completion. I look foreword to meeting new faces, answering any questions and watching Meadow Hill realize its Horticultural potential.
Best regards,
