Some owners have chosen to leave a key to their unit with the maintenance department. This is helpful in case you become locked out of your unit or if there is an emergency and the maintenance department or police/fire personnel must access your unit. If maintenance does not have a key to your unit and emergency access is needed, police or fire personnel may take whatever action is necessary to access your unit, including breaking in through a door or window. As you can imagine, repairs to a window or door can be costly and are billable to the unit owner. If you would like to leave a key with the maintenance department or verify that the key on file is the current key for your unit, please contact Mandie at APM to get a message to Darien.
