Good things are happening at the Wednesday afternoon “knitting” club. Prayer shawls, finger puppets, pink scarves and birthing bonnets are being knitted and crocheted for patients at and visitors to Middlesex Hospital. Once a month, Meadow Hill resident, Linda Fillion, volunteers at the hospital. She can not perform physical work but contributes the craft projects to the hospital. Linda is a retired RN with over 40 years of work experience and she worked at Middlesex Hospital in the 1970s.
If you can not attend the Wednesday gatherings and wish to contribute, Linda can provide you with instructions for the projects. Just give her a call!
