This has been a difficult winter for Darien & Tim from our Maintenance department. Both have done a terrific job keeping our paved roadways, parking lots, and pathways safe and clear.
Recently the Board learned that certain residents are calling our Management Company asking for their decks to be cleared and for shoveled pathways to be made across grass lawn areas. Please understand that these cannot be done by Meadow Hill maintenance and ask that you not to call Management requesting these.
Meadow Hill does provide winter snow removal on our paved areas but not on our decks and patios. Unless there is a paved walkway, the association cannot open pathways across grass lawns or around the sides of the units. If the association were to do so, we would be in violation of our insurance guidelines. Also, the association has no ongoing responsibility for clearing, sanding, salting, or otherwise maintaining any non-paved pathway that may have been created by a resident.
