\nNovember 21, 2017<\/strong><\/p>\n

Executive Session<\/strong><\/p>\n

The Executive Session was convened at 12:38pm by President Ed Litke at the Clubhouse, 1st Fl. A quorum was present with the following in attendance: Directors: C. Abbott, L. Abbott, N. Gordon, E. Litke, and L. Weeks along with Manager E. Schaefer. Absent C. Wanat.<\/p>\n

The Executive Session was adjourned at 1:28pm<\/p>\n

Open Session<\/strong><\/p>\n

The Open Session was convened at 1:36pm with the same present, at the Clubhouse 2nd Fl.<\/p>\n

President\u2019s Remarks<\/strong><\/p>\n

President Litke stated that, like last month, our goal is to complete the meeting by 3:00pm or 3:15pm at the latest. He also mentioned that there are many Committee activities underway.<\/p>\n

Auditor\u2019s Report<\/strong><\/p>\n

Meadow Hill Audit 2016 \u2013 Overview given by Dan Levine.\u00a0 Meadow Hill is in good financial condition, yet should be careful to document authorizations for expenditures, especially reserve fund expenditures, and fund transfers.<\/p>\n

L. Abbott moved, E. Litke 2nd to accept auditor\u2019s report Approved unanimously.<\/p>\n

Capital Projects and Work Orders<\/strong><\/p>\n

Committee Reports<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 L. Fillian, Welcome Committee \u2013 Welcomed two new residents and pets.<\/p>\n

\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 R. Bouchard, Friends of the River: – Some trees should be removed behind
\npaddock.\u00a0 The priority ones can be removed by Maintenance.
\no\u00a0\u00a0 E. Litke moved, C. Abbott 2nd to have Maintenance remove the trees that they
\ncan. Approved unanimously..<\/p>\n

Owners\u2019 Forum<\/strong><\/p>\n

#168 M. Shea \u2013 Suggests that Social Committee fund should be spent rather than accumulated. – Concerned that her tree in front of her unit has not been trimmed or cut down despite years of requests. Response:\u00a0 Multiple Boards have determined that the tree would stay. Perhaps another board will make a different decision. Maintenance will review for trimming.
\n– Should holiday bonus for Maintenance be sent to AMP or directly to staff?
\nResponse:\u00a0 Either OK.<\/p>\n

#182 M. Fillion \u2013 complemented work of Dairen and Linda Schmidt to get a notoriously sluggish Eversource to fix several street lights out for years.<\/p>\n

#116 S. O\u2019Leary \u2013 Is there a limit on the number of generators the Board will approve. Answer: No
\nToo much attention to trees by the River. Their should be more attention paid to trees in the other areas of the complex. Answer: The Landscape Committee just received a report from Watson Tree on recommendations for priorities in addressing trees around the complex. Just a few days too late to be included in meeting package.<\/p>\n
