\nBoard of Directors Meeting
\nApril, 2012<\/p>\n
The regular monthly meeting of the Board of Directors of Meadow Hill was called to order at 3:04 p.m. in the Clubhouse on Tuesday, April 17, 2012 by the vice-president, Luther Weeks.<\/p>\n
A quorum was present with the following directors in attendance: L. Weeks, L. Fillion, R. Bouchard, J. Harris, \u00a0J. Trustey
\nE. Schaefer, APM.\u00a0 M. Belcher, APM.<\/p>\n
The following directors were absent: J. Goselin<\/p>\n
The minutes of the meeting March 20, 2012 were approved as written by unanimous consent.<\/p>\n
Committee Reports-<\/strong><\/p>\n Mary Ann Bouchard for the amenities committee presented a proposal to purchase 2 picnic tables and a variety of potential prices and options to purchase new furniture for the pool.<\/p>\n Jane Harris for grounds presented a list of updating and transplanting to be done.<\/p>\n Linda Fillion for the welcoming committee stated that welcome packages were given to\u00a0 Mary Ellen Linderman- unit # 254 and Jane Marcin- unit# 133.<\/p>\n The Maintenance Report-<\/strong><\/p>\n Work orders were reviewed.<\/p>\n Capitol projects were reviewed.<\/p>\n Owners Forum-<\/strong><\/p>\n U\/O #74 M. Finnegan questioned the rights of someone visiting versus a resident of Meadow Hill. She was informed that there was no difference in the approach. The rules apply the same for all who are here.<\/p>\n Treasurer\u2019s report-<\/strong><\/p>\n Roger Bouchard reported that to date we are operating under budget.<\/p>\n Managers report<\/strong><\/p>\n The correspondence was reviewed.<\/p>\n Old Business<\/strong><\/p>\n The CAI group will have a month to month lease for the use of Hollister House.<\/p>\n The lease has yet to be signed.<\/p>\n Discussion was continued on the feasibility of a unisex bathroom for the 2nd<\/sup> floor of the clubhouse and on the generator backup for the clubhouse, since no estimates are as yet available on the bathroom.<\/p>\n Attorney Pearlstein is working on a proposal to change to our documents regarding removing the stable as an amenity in time for a vote at our June meeting.<\/p>\n New Business-<\/strong><\/p>\n A motion was made and seconded to approve the request of U\/O # 272 K. Collins to extend her patio path to join the black-top walkway that bisects the area behind her unit. The motion passed unanimously.<\/p>\n Roger Bouchard presented a proposal to beautify the area where the brush is dumped.<\/p>\n A motion was made and seconded to renew the CAI Membership for Meadow Hill for three board members. The motion passed unanimously.<\/p>\n A motion was made and seconded to amend the proposal for the amenities committee. The motion passed unanimously.<\/p>\n A motion was made and seconded to purchase 1 picnic table at $119.00 for the river area. The motion passed with 4 positive and 1 opposing votes.<\/p>\n A motion was made and seconded to close the meeting and go into executive session at 4:40 p.m. The motion passed unanimously. <\/strong><\/p>\n The BOD came out of executive session at 4:45 p.m.<\/strong><\/p>\n The meeting was adjourned at 4:46 p.m.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n L.
